about Deonta
Deonta Williams was raised by the late Rev. Carl Williams in Michigan and although his father preceeded him in death in 2007 Deonta always remembered the standards that his mother (Toni Williams) and father lovingly taught him to live by. While sitting under the ministry of his father, he was greatly inspired by the passion and tenacity of his father and was confident in this one thing, that although they did several minor things differently, They were both washed in the blood of Christ. It was not long after his fathers death that Deonta began to mold into the person that God called him to be. He has always had a heart for the needs of people and the things of God and took every opportunity speak into the lives of people of all ages.
Growing up, Deonta attended several different churches with various denominational backgrounds and from each denomination he took and applied many different lessons and standards of living and quickly realized that the focus shouldn't be on what "type" of church you come from, rather, the love of Jesus Christ which hold us all together.
As time passed Deonta found that his forte was not only to help people but to extensively teach the written word of God. This led to his obedience to follow Gods voice to Rhema Bible College in 2010 to further his preparation for the ministry. He has spoken to many different crowds from teens to adults from different back grounds, nationalities and views, teaching on subjects such as salvation, identity, love, spiritual growth and perseverance. Deonta was privileged to have served in the continent of Africa under the teaching and guidance of Evangelist John Smithwick, founder of Global Ventures Ministries. Deonta has written articles for christian youth magazines and ministered at many orphanages to spread the gospel of hope.
Deonta is looking forward to work with and assist at-risk teens of today. He has a deep and passionate desire to see those of all ages get to know God's personal calling and purpose for their life. He hopes to be a proactive leader and an effective example of love in today's society.
